How to Register for PRISM-JTM

Only for Oral and Poster Presenters

Graduate students will present Posters, and Undergraduate students will give Oral Presentations.
The registration process on the website consists of 2 phases.

Anyone who will be presenting their research at the event must have a profile on our website (if they do not have one, they must create it; see PHASE 1). If you already have a profile you may go directly to PHASE 2.

Individuals with an existing profile who do not remember their password may request a “Password Reset.” The system will send an email with a link to change the password.

Phase 1:

Create a Profile on the PR-LSAMP Website

IMPORTANT: If the user already has a profile, proceed directly to Phase 2.

When the system redirects you to the “Login” area, there is a button to create a profile.

Select the button “Create Student Profile.”

Complete the required profile fields.

The Social Security field may be left blank (it is only for Undergraduate Research Program students).

Once finished, click “Create Profile.”

The system will send a code to the student via email.

Check your email inbox and validate your profile

Follow the instructions on the email to validate your profile.

After validating the profile, proceed to PHASE 2

Phase 2:

PRISM-JTM Registration

Login to your PR-LSAMP Profile

If you do not have a profile go to PHASE 1

Go to the “Available Activities for Registration” section

It’s below your profile’s personal information.

Look for the PRISM-JTM activity and click “Register”

If you are an undergraduate student, click “I will present alone”

Graduate students will be sent automatically to the registration form.

Complete the Form

Click “Register” at the end to submit your form.

Registration Form Details:

  • Mentor Information
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
    • Institution
    • Deparment
  • Your Research Information:
    • Field
    • Title
    • Keywords (maximum of 5, separated by commas)
    • Abstract (maximum 2,500 characters) – images are not accepted, and formatting is minimal.
    • Authors:
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Institution
      • Click “Add Author”
        – repeat for all authors, including yourself.

You may check your registration on your Profile’s home page under the “Registration Status” section. Click the “PRISM-JTM” title to expand. There you may also edit your registration (abstract, title, etc.) if needed. Edits are allowed until the deadline.
